Jesus did not call His followers to build earthly kingdoms, but to proclaim the Kingdom of God.

Religiously, Jesus also confronted false piety and hypocrisy, calling His followers to authentic faith rooted in Scripture — not in man-made traditions or human titles. He said, “You call me, ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord.’ You say so correctly, for so I am.” (John 13:13) The true Church is not a building or an institution; it is the body of believers living in obedience to His Word and led by His Spirit.

Today, His authority reminds us that we are called to follow the Bible — not men. We are the Church, redeemed by His blood and set apart to live in truth. In a world filled with idols of power, status, and tradition, Jesus stands as the only rightful King — Lord over all.
